The police acted unfairly when they restricted protestors holding demonstrations against live animal exports at the Port of Ramsgate. Thats according to a damning report from the police watchdog seen exclusively by BBC South East. It concludes that if the then Chief Constable of Kent, Ian Learmonth, had still been in post, he would have had a case to answer for misconduct. We can reveal that protestors are still being threatened by the same law, despite it being called into question by the Independent Police Complaints Commission. Simon Jones reports.
