The problem with this is that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. A human rights commission would be awesome if we could get one that is independent and can address the injustices in society. I am not sure Lloyd B Smith or the Leader if the Opposition are in a place to facilitate such a commission. They are all part of the nasty dirty politics that holds the belief that the Hann capital in Jamaica is disposable. For those of us who forgot please review Green Bay, Tivoli, the guts in the gully and the Montego Bay Street People Issue. Jamaica and Jamaicans pride itself to be a part of the axis of evil. The government and its people over the last 50 years have systematically abuse, torture and kill its own people. Most of these persons crime is being poor and black from the wrong neighborhood. The police force that was set up to put down slave uprising constantly assault and kill innocent people for fun, knowing they will get away with it. I fully understand why people are calling for the British to take back Jamaica. If they did at least poor blacks who have some guarantee to life. The just system is so bad if you want a petty crime to be investigated you have to lie and say a gay man rob you. I keep saying it what a disgrace Jamaicas Independence turn out to be. We will never survive as a nation if we continue on this path of self destruction. The current government have no plans to lift the people out of poverty. Their solution is to sell the Jamaican real estate to China. Way to go Portia. May be some intellectual dishonest college like Lafayette College in Easton Pennsylvania, might give you another honorary doctorate for helping to destroying the country.
