It might have been Calcutta except for the red double-decker buses passing by. We were in London on a short-term mission trip with about forty other people. The first few days we’d walked around this South Asian neighborhood, imbibing the culture, occasionally gathering to pray, but now it was time to move on to the hard stuff, to hand out tracts and start some conversations. We had come here to share the good news of God’s redemption—to shine the light of the cross.
