The sound of horses are being released upon the earth... In 2 Kings 6:29 Samaria was a very dark place, people were filled with fear, and in the famine a couple of women had planned to eat their own children. Fear of the enemy, of the unknown, had kept many locked inside the city walls. Many people in this hour are gripped with such great fear they no longer want to ride with the Lord. In 2 Kings 7:3-5 it says: Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, Why are we sitting here until we die? If we say, We will enter the city, the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live: and if they kill us, we shall only die. When they got to the (enemy) camp no one was there. 2 Kings 7:6 For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses-the noise of a great army. The Syrians said to one another, Look the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us! Therefore they arose and fled at twilight, and left the camp intact- their tents, their horses, their donkeys - and they fled for their lives. 2 Kings 7:8 And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank and carried from it the silver and the gold and clothing, and went and hid them; then they came back and entered another tent and carried some from there also, and went and hid it. 2 Kings 7:9 Then they said to one another, We are not doing right. This is a day of Good News, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the Kings household. Here is the Word of the Lord for the Kings household. This is a day of Good News! The Spirit of the Lord has released the sound of horses upon the earth and the enemy is on the run. We can stay locked in the congregation- locked in the city with fear, locked in the home with fear, or we can get out - we can mount up and ride with the King. The enemies protection has been removed and we can still take the world for Jesus Christ. He bought it with His blood. For God so loved the WORLD He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. We can Go into the world and plunder the enemy camp. Lets take back what was stolen when Adam and Eve turned the keys over to satan. Just as the lepers found abundant provision in the enemy camp, so will we. Lets ride saints, for it is surely a day of Good News and we will not perish ... ivingbreadchurch
