Come on in to the Gatsby Mansion, where “people from every walk of life” will be tumbling out of their automobiles right through a pair of giant white doors and into the most spectacular show of the rich and the reckless, the poor and the proper, the famous and the soon-to-be known this side of the river has ever seen! You never know who you’ll meet in this “kaleidoscopic carnival” of humanity, where the skirts are short, the tights are sheer, and the glitter is plentiful. Maybe you’ll even catch a glimpse Mr. Gatsby himself, standing pensively under the lavish chandelier pouring a drink. Or maybe you’ll graze him on the dance floor, swinging along as the jazz ensemble blares its trumpets and roars its saxophones, helping feather-cald party-goers dance their nights away. Join us as we take you back to the Roaring 20s and re-create the feeling of days gone by. Taking place at the historic Amazura Concert Hall on Wedneday, December 31st, this event will feature beautiful Art Deco decor, specialty cocktails, music, dancing and a few surprises. We will be recreating the whole concert hall to make it feel like a scene from the movie itself. The early portion of the evening will feature traditional swing, jazz, and 1920s themed dance music. Later the night will take a turn bringing this 1920s themed event to 2014 with a DJ playing to hits from this era. The event will also feature other 1920s period decor and themes, including a photobooth with props and more.
