The terrorists won. Why do I say that? Since 9/11, think of all the changes that have infringed upon your personal liberties and on the psyche of Americanism. Muslims wanted a Ground Zero Mosque and they have one, a conquest mosque just a few blocks away. The Muslims even raised a stink about the use of the word Muslim in the 9/11 commemorative documentary shown at the Museum. How does one create a movie about Islamic radicalism and terrorists attacks without using those words? Surveillance on normal citizens is a daily thing, not the exception. There are cameras everywhere. It is estimated that there are over 24 cameras per city block in downtown Manhattan. Red light cameras are the norm, but they are ON all the time in even the smallest of towns across the country. ATM and store cameras are, too. If you buy hydrogen peroxide to use for health purposes, you show up on a watchlist. Same with fertilizer. Purchasing any ingredients that can make a bomb, including pipe and nails and ball bearings and now pressure cookers, however harmless your personal use, puts you on an automatic watchlist. Our banking system is shot to hell. Any large transaction? Flagged. Cameras watching everything, of course. I have even been told by a small town banking manager that the Federal Government can walk into a bank with a blanket warrant and demand that every safety deposit box be opened for inspection. You cant move around your hometown without a GPS tracking chip in one or more of your devices. Every single thing you do on a computer is stored somewhere. You read books on an e-reader and someone you dont know, knows your reading list. You purchase items at a grocery store and there is a computerized record. Phone conversations are all logged, some surveiled. Students are monitored with chips in ID cards. Some places are prepping to use implanted chips including our lovely gift from a socialist government in the form of ObamaCare. We are not free anymore. And now every police department in every burg across the country is looking to build their own SWAT teams. And every agency in our Federal Government already has one as well equipped as anything our servicemen carry during their service. The terrorists did win. And what makes it worse, Islam is now politically correct and millions of dollars are spent pandering to Islams demands in our school, government, and even beginning in our judicial systems. Whole communities in Michigan and Florida and New Jersey and Texas have Islamic enclaves. And there are those in power that want to limit our Conservative free speech and free expression because we are inconvenient. If things continue on this path, it will be considered hate speech to say what you think about Islam or even, for that matter, express your Christian beliefs because someone will be offended. Does anyone remember how much freer you felt before 9/11? How much security is enough? How much freedom have we lost? What has it cost us to be living in a world of false security?
