Them feels.... :( I see homeless people all the time downtown while going to work; i try to always make sure to bring some extra fruit with me on the way to give to them - they are always VERY grateful. Theres an old war vet, he mostly keeps to himself; he has one arm... Theres another older black fellow; hes always so cheerful, wishing everyone a happy whatever-day-it-is; he LOVES fruit. Then theres a kid, doesnt look much older than me... I talk with him the most, which still isnt really much... Id actually like to try to get to know them better; maybe get a better understanding of their story, where they came from, maybe even give them some type of human connection and empathy so that they go through the rest of their lives thinking no one gives a shit.... ....I do.
