Theoretical speculation.Trying to locate a nonexistent fossil - TopicsExpress

Theoretical speculation.Trying to locate a nonexistent fossil record is actually quite taxing. The primary problem is that one simply does not exist. This class is based on theoretical speculation, no accurate data, a lot of guessing, and even conjecture and supposition. We looked for the origin of the viral transforming genes. The genome itself is so small there is only enough room for about 10 kb. Without an accurate record the task seems impossible. Were looking for certain familiarities that pertain to any virus. This includes the five basic types of viral structure, starting with icosahedral to envelope icosahedral to complex unknown to helical is envelope helical. So far I havent come up with anything as it pertains to structure… Im not saying it isnt there, Im just saying I havent found it within the course outline. I looked at nonstructural proteins. Because these virally coded proteins are not packaged in a virion. We looked at effects on the host that were potential prospects, but really didnt turn up anything noteworthy. I think the main problem is we keep running into May inhibit host DNA, RNA or protein synthesis. This is primarily because details and mechanisms vary on viral type. Each virus has a cytopathic effect. Im looking for a noted constellation of cytopathic effects because that may identify a particular virus. Also looking for any detectable changes in the host cell from surface characteristic shift to apoptosis.Im using a slightly different approach, looking at all reptilian DNA viral genomes that can be identified now and working my way backwards. Other than that everything is fine and I suspect at some point, something will be revealed. Have a great day, and i will catch you later.
