There are certain kinds of stupid that are _so_ special, they deserve their own circle in Dantes Inferno. Now, mind you, Im not here advocating gratuitous punishment of stupidity. Stupidity is its own punishment. No, Im talking about the kind of stupidity that punishes others that really really really want nothing to do with that kind of stupidity at all, but cannot escape it. Sure, sorting proponents of social theories into governments that test them would be a kind of ideal solution to this but then consider the kind of stupidity that fails to recognize sortocracys brand of social justice is exactly what is needed to deal with stupid theories of social justice. Its _that_ kind of stupidity that Im talking about in _general_ terms. To get more specific, let me point out that the special kind of stupid that denies the power of the network effect in creating natural monopolies really deserves its own circle in Dantes Inferno -- and for reasons quite analogous to those that require anti-sortocratic stupidity be treated to such sanction.
