There are over 7 billion people who dont care about my problems. And thats not just a simple majority of the worlds population, that a huge and vast majority that have never once given a single thought to my personal woes. They could care less about my grades, my relationships, my financial concerns. Sure, some might care in a general way, but not in a specific way, not anymore than I do for the 7 billion of them. I find it strangely comforting that so many care so very little for my personal problems. It makes me smile. That the universe is so vastly bigger than I, that atoms and quarks are so infinitely smaller. That I wasnt as I am for billion upon billions of years and that I probably will never be as I am in this moment ever again. That there are more snowflakes falling now than people I have ever met. That more sounds are being uttered at this moment that I have heard my entire life. That there are more wavelengths of color that I cant see than that I can. And more frequencies of sound that I have never heard than I can hear. More smells than I can possibly imagine and more ways to touch I will never know. I will never understand infinite because I can scarcely understand myself. Awe almost seems too cheap of a word for this.
