There have been a lot of days lately that feel like setbacks for me....I am thinking it has to do with Abby leaving soon, Maddys 2 year coming up...mixed with thinking about daughter #1 up in Duluth alone along with changes happening all around. It reminds me how little we truly control and how few people truly understand that. I get it...100%. Normally I am ok with change, but other times Id love to go back, even for a day, to what used to be. I always hear people say you shouldnt live in the past. Well Id go back in a heartbeat...if I could. It doesnt mean I dont appreciate the present or look forward to the future...it just means my past was pretty great. My todays can be pretty overwhelming emotionally ...but I keep fighting and praying for happier tomorrows.
