There is a difference between a protest and a riot. I carried a sign once on the steps of the Kentucky state capital. . . a peaceful, law-abiding, Constitutionally-protected protest that resulted in a direct audience with the governor and a public hearing of grievances. That is what a protest looks like. Burning, looting, and gunfire? Face it, the people in this crowd didnt come for justice; they came to riot. And what idiot thought torquing everybody up for hours and then making the announcement late at night was a sound plan? What a quagmire. Al Sharpton should be charged with inciting a riot. And when you resort to violence, theft, and vandalism youre not a protester. . . youre a criminal.
