There is a my little pony uproar happening now. A little boy is getting taunted for having a my little pony backpack. Instead of just not carrying it, the parents want the school to protect the child. So school bans the backpack. Some people feel the child should be able to do what they want. In life, if you go against the norm there are consequences. That is just how things are. The problem is that there wont always be someone to protect this person. I guess I learned to fit in when I grew up. I dont think that is such a bad lesson. If you want to put yourself in a position to be ostracized, dont expect people to protect you. If you want to go through life battling perceptions good luck. There is always an easy way and a more difficult way.
