There is dispute Gadaffi was a blood thirsty butcher who was propped up into power by Britain in order to counter American backed King Idris As-Sanusi. However mad and tyrant he was, he was known for his clashes and belligerent tone with other Arab despots whenever he attended Arab League Summits. This is him at the Damascus Arab League Summit in 2008 asking very pertinent questions about the hypocrisy of all the Arab leaders with regards to the #Zionist occupation of #Palestine. Some of the issues he raised: --> How can (Arab leaders) say that Israel must return to its pre-1967 borders? [Note: he is here alluding to the Arab Peace Initiative, an arrangement initiated by Saudi Arabia that will legalised further the occupation of Palestine by the Zionists] --> Does Palestine consist only of the West Bank and Gaza? If so it means that the Israelis did not occupy Palestine in 1948! --> Now you only want to establish a Palestinian state in West Bank and Gaza. Why could you not do it back when Gaza was still a part of Egypt and West Bank was a part of Jordan (before the 1967 war)? --> It is as if Israel occupies more Arab land in 2008 and a few years later you Arab leaders will demand that Israel return to its pre-2008 borders…
