There is nothing I find quite as beautifully powerful as the moon on a crisp clear night. Its glow captivates my eyes, and with it, my soul; and its strong presence, which demands my respect, illicits many paradoxical emotions deep within my being. The moon makes me feel so small, yet an integral part of something much bigger...so human, yet innately Divine....isolated in my own world, yet somehow connected to all of creation...peaceful, serene, content with my life; and yet completely overtaken by the sudden urge to abandon all the comfortable distractions I call my life to zealously go explore more of the quiet, uncorrupted miracles Mother Earth has to offer us. Most of all, the moon evokes in me an unexplainable sense of gratitude, an awareness that I am blessed beyond measure and that even in the midst of all the chaos, Lifes beauty remains constant. ((My thoughts at 3 am after waking from a deep sleep to go pee and looking out to see the moon shining down on me)) :))
