There was a truly laughable moment at the Seminole County School - TopicsExpress

There was a truly laughable moment at the Seminole County School Board meeting last night when after a half dozen members of the public asked for disciplinary action against over 20 school board employees that violated board policies and possibly the state and federal laws they are based on when they used taxpayer owned property and employees on duty to distribute pro sales tax election signs in all the district schools. The moment occurred when Jay Zembower, who chaired the political action committee promoting the tax, took the podium and apologized for the comments of the members of the public that demanded accountability. He stated that if there was evidence of wrongdoing people should cite it or stop slurring district employees. What made it truly funny was that it was Zembowers trailer that was used to distribute the pro tax signage produced by his PAC to schools throughout the district. I guess School District CFO Bill Kelly, who named Zembower as helping in the effort to violate district policy, didnt tell him he is mentioned in the extensive investigation that documents all the events.
