Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. (Romans 2: 1) Paul says if you recognize these practices as being antagonistic toward God when Gentiles do them and condemn them for it, you pass judgment upon yourselves because you practice the same kinds of ungodly things. Under wicked Kings the Jews had refused to believe in and obey God. Prophets repeatedly pleaded with them to repent of greed, idolatry, murder, etc.
