Theres always something exciting happening here. The past two days we’ve had a bear visiting the chokecherry buffet in our Gardens during the night & in the middle of the afternoon as well. Pictured are some of the 2” to 3” diameter trees he broke. One of our 2 legged daytime time visitors got a few good photos of him with her cellphone camera at 2 pm yesterday. We’ll post them if she emails them to us. This morning I was greeted with his calling card he dropped just in front of our office door. I’ll spare you from having to look at a photo of that. He also cruised through our Nursery feasting on apple trees early this morning. Belva was lucky to see him a couple of times yesterday but didn’t have a camera with her. The other photo is of his wet tracks shortly after he crossed the creek in our Gardens. This time of year bear eat for about 20 hours a day to get themselves ready for hibernation.
