Theres great things happening in Irish Fashion. Congratulations to veteran Irish fashion designer Louise Kennedy who has been featured daily by the Irish first lady Sabina Higgins this week, styled by Joan Bergin on our first official state visit to Britain, as have Philip Treacy, Helen McAlinden, glove designer Paula Rowan. President Michael D Higginss suits were tailored by Michael Johnson and Declan Abrahams. Mrs Higgins today joined the wife of the Irish ambassador to Britain at the Irish Embassy in Grosvenor Place in hosting a private lunch to celebrate established and emerging Irish fashion talent in London with guests including Louise Kennedy, Paul Costelloe, Orla Kiely and Dermott Rowan, Úna M Burke, Derek Lawlor, Sorcha ORaghallaigh Design, Melissa Curry, Danielle Romeril, Simone Rocha and J.W.ANDERSON.
