Theres one thing I have learned... And it was a hard lesson to learn. But no matter what you do, put your heart and soul into it. Be the best that you can at whatever your career path and whatever relationship you decide to have. That is all you can do. But dont expect it to be enough for anyone else. Because no matter how well you think you know someone or how well you feel you are doing, you CANNOT control other people. Realize that their definition of good enough is not the same as your own....
