Theres such a thing called a generic church.This is what the Lord told me. Generic products; for example pain tablets do what brand named tablets do just not with the same ability. Jesus said I will build my church and heres spiritual material hes using. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones..1 Cor.3v12.These materials are symbolic of sound doctrine of the word. This is the original church with the materials Jesus said he will build. A generic church is a church that uses spiritual material that doesnt have substance and is not lasting. Heres the spiritual material of that church. ..Now if any man build upon this foundation .. wood, hay, stubble.1 Cor.3v11. Paul cautioned the church about ministers that are b uilding this generic church;theyre using a gospel (good news) thats sound good but theres elements of error in it. Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.Gal.1:7-8. We live in a season where people have itching ears and refuse sound doctrine but are heaping up to themselves teachers that justify their ways. The church that Jesus is building is a glorious church,one that is purifying itself because they know hes coming for a church without spot and wrinkles;one that he can present to himself. Be discerning because theres another gospel,another Christ and another spirit that has entered the church and many lack perception to tell the difference.
