There’s a heaven waiting for us. I’d rather go to heaven - TopicsExpress

There’s a heaven waiting for us. I’d rather go to heaven when I’m gone But when there’s no heaven that’s a problem. I will not know where to go. If I stay here, I’ll just remember the thousand and one Too many wonderful memories we had when we’re here - just like the first time we met and realized we have to spend a life together; how we planned or just let events take place In our lives; the first child born, then a second one. How the children grew up within our sight And loving care and before we knew It, grandparents We became with white thinning hairs as proof we Had grown old with the thousand and one memories Still binding us together and a deep-abiding love For each other that will never grow old. Ah, my dearest, let me reminisce a while, I’ll look back While still I’m alive, and I’ll remember and cherish that one And a thousand memories – but when I’m gone, I wish there’s A heaven where I’ll wait for you, or you’ll wait for me. And in that heaven we may forget we had a thousand memories Of a life together and regret leaving the same– for in that heaven I know there’ll be another life for you and me, no need for us to look back and remember how happy we were; eternal happiness we’ll have together In that heaven waiting for us, just you wait And see my love.
