Things are moving along quickly with the Backpacks of Love and Rural Aid and Homeless Outreach Mobile Homeless Resource Vehicle and Veterans Support (MHRVS). Had a meeting today with a staff member at a local Community Action Corporation, where we discussed The Invisible Homeless, those who are homeless out in the rural areas. I found out that there are a large percentage of youthful homeless, at and below the ages of the kids in these pictures. Many live in our forests here. They loved the idea for our mobile ministry and I think that they will be an incredible resource in helping us to mold our program into something which will best serve God, our clients and the community. Until the big van is delivered and set up, we will be continuing our regular runs under the Backpacks of Love ministry; Beths health is such that she can return with me and we will have new pictures.
