Things that need to happen in Belize are: People need to stop expecting handouts. Bob Marley said in a song - Neva mek a politishan grant you a faava; they will always want to control you foreva. Letting politicians hold that over you is what gives them the power to do what they do. Budgets need to be capped a percentage of the prior years GDP. For example, the last budget where Dean had to borrow money to meet the expenditures. We went from a nation of free people to a nation of indentured slaves, working to pay loans that will never be paid off because of two things... 1.) We are borrowing to pay off debt; thus increasing the debt instead of paying it off. 2.) We are borrowing more than we make in income. Belize has the resources to make it in the middle to high class countries of the world, sadly we have always had management teams with their heads so far up each others asses that all we see is shit.
