This November it’s “Many Happy Returns” to Pet Diabetes Month which is now in its sixth year. Pet Diabetes Month helps to raise awareness amongst pet owners about diabetes mellitus which is one of the most common hormonal diseases in cats and dogs. We aim to educate owners to be more alert to signs of diabetes to ensure they contact us if they suspect a problem. To support this event were asking you to call into the surgery to collect a free test kit so you can ask your pet to “Take a Tinkle”, or make an appointment with the Nurse where during November we are also offering free glucose blood tests.
