This Saturday will be a milestone for me as a musician. That milestone is playing a festival with The Solar System. We are performing at Dally in the Alley. Yes Ive played festivals in previous bands but in those bands I was the drummer. This time around im fronting my own band, singing and playing guitar , performing songs I wrote with my bandmates. This is huge for me as for one I never thought The Solar System would one day become an actual band and secondly performing songs I wrote in a live setting.With that being said I hope to share this experience with my friends and family. I feel ive come a long way as a musician and my bandmates Brian Arvo and Daniel Frazier Vought are amazing musicians and great people. Its the musical chemistry ive always dreamed of. Youll see this saturday how tight we are as a band. We will also have Free Solar System Sampler CDs with us which include two songs from our upcoming album Xaxxon. This performance means so much to me and will mean so much, The only thing to make it even better is sharing it with you. See you Saturday!-Chris
