This Sunday CLB will be rooting for John Mitchels GAA Liverpool club, one of two GAA clubs in Liverpool, as they play Leinster provincial champions Moate All Whites in Navan in an All-Ireland semi-final. Seán Carty, a solicitor in our Employment Law department who originates from County Down, is a Forward for the club as well as being the Club Secretary. Seán, who has played Gaelic Football since the age of four, is also an FA Registered Lawyer which enables him to act as an agent for players over 16 at all levels of the professional game. John Mitchels, formed in 1904, remain the only football club to ever win an All-Ireland club game on Irish soil.
