This article frustrates the hell out of me! Vegetable and processed seed oils are still recommended as the healthy fats. Vegetable and canola oil (rapeseed) are high in Omega-6 fatty acids and oxidise easily, especially when heated. Oxidised polyunsaturated fatty acids can be very harmful. Yet coconut oil and butter are still not seen as healthy fats. BUT WAIT, there is more! I then see that one of the authors received funding for her PhD from Meadow Lea (margarine makers) and GRDC (Grains: Research & Development). *sigh and roll my eyes* #jerf #healthyfats #paleo
