This comment from Raven Symone is unfortunate and sad. TO many people have died so that she can sit there in her absorb WORLD and comment on not being AFRICAN American. She is not even consciously aware of her ROOTS, just 30 plus years ago two black women would have never been allowed to set on national television to discuss race and gender. The sacrifice so many black people have made that has allowed her to have a privilege, elites how great thou are life/attitude, did not deserve this slap in the face. Would she have made that comment to Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Sojourner Truth, Nelson Mandela, Fannie Lou Hamer, our great grand parents who sat on those old hard wood benches in church, waving those hand fans praying to GOD that there children have a better life than what they had. Im embarrassed for her, that she does not even know how confused she really is, all because she was raised to believe that shes special and that makes her better and different. Im glad she is not BLACK. Thank GOD!
