This happened a few years ago, but great stuff nonetheless. This store clerk, who usually is armed but wasnt on this night, decided to use his self-defense skills to take out this robber. Turns out the robber, yet another criminal genius, was only armed with a pellet gun. Ultimately the decision to fight back in a situation like this is up to you. If the criminal appears he only wants the money is going to leave, it may be wise to let him go. But remember that if someone is pointing a gun at you, you cannot assume they wont use it. I believe, however, that you NEVER allow yourself to be put into a situation where you can be executed. If you give the robber the money, and then he tells you to get down on the ground, or turn around and get on your knees, it is time to fight for your life. When you are trained in self-defense, as this clerk was, you give yourself a much better chance to win that fight. How would you have handled this situation?
