This is Louis Cyr (Born on October 11th, 1863 in Napierville, Quebec - Died on November 10th, 1912 in Montreal, Quebec.) was a famous French-Canadian strongmen and a former police officer of the Montreal Police Service from 1883 to 1885. Louis Cyrs records included lifting 500 pound with using three of his fingers and backlifting 4,337 pounds of weights. He was the strongest man in Canada at the time. Parc Des Hommes-Fort here in Montreal at the corner of Saint-Antoine Ouest and Rue Courcelle in the St. Henri-area is named in his honour.
