This is Robert Redford (that would be the young and handsome Robert Redford, not the older and more weathered one!) He was found as a stray in southern Ohio and the shelter gave him his name. We have taken to just calling him Red. He is right around a year old and is a very good boy. He is one of the retriever breeds we work with called a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and seems to be pretty much a pure bred, although we have no way to know for sure. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchiped, healthy and happy. He gets along very well with other dogs and loves human attention. We dont have a cat so he has not been tested. We have also not had a chance to test his retrieving skills yet but will do that soon. He does seem to be very sure footed and I have seen him run the length across 2X4 beams here so agility or even dock dogs may be an option for him if you are looking for a competition dog. At this point he is available for adoption to qualified families through SPARRO.
