This is a must read article for survivors of abuse and those who wish to advocate to help child abuse. Why silence? This question is asked often as to why Victims may not want to come out to talk about the crimes committed on them as children. Gaining back self esteem is essential in healing and fighting the battle to cure the wounds of abuse. Networks of perpetrators in artistic and religious circles try to pauperize, shun and keep down those they have inured in the belief they can cover their sins by enforcing the earlier trauma of the network by demeaning the survivor. When survivors realize they have the power to come out of this sham and expose to the light the crimes perpetrated on them as innocent children and such, they can live fuller lives.
