This is a nice read... great for those just starting out. Its an excellent refresher for those who have been doing it for a while! We think a few things should be added too: 1- Try to hold a shot for 10 seconds BEFORE you make your move and another 10 seconds after you park. It gives options! 2- If you move to the right, try a version moving to the left 3- Give a few options with movement or zooms with a varying speed. Sometimes it needs to be faster or slower than what you shot... again... options 4- Pay attention to the audio as you shoot! Roll for your video while listening to audio. This way you can roll on complete sentences for sound. Theres nothing worse than a GREAT nat-sound moment and the camera op, stopping the roll because they hit their time mark for how long to roll. 5- Remember than an NLE is NOT a magic wand! If you can fix it in the field, do so!
