This is a public safety announcement for those of you who have young children and camp. Just because its a nice family camp dont let your 4 year old go wandering off with a stranger and her dog. Today I took Peanut out for his morning walk. A sweet little girl (who told me that she was 4) followed me all around the park talking away. I asked her where her mommy & daddy were and she said still sleeping. I told her that she should go back and let them know that she was outside and walking around. She said they knew. Later I saw the girl and her mom. I told her mom that her little one followed me on a walk today (just in case her mom really didnt know). Her moms response, yeah, she gets up at the butt crack of dawn, so we send her out to play. Really?
