This is an update to a previous message about a phone theft in Newcastle. It happened in the early hours of Saturday, May 24, at LQ nightclub at New Bridge Street, when a black Motorola mobile phone was stolen. Police investigating the theft released a selfie image of a man they needed to speak to. A 19-year-old man has been dealt with by way of a community resolution for theft by finding and will pay compensation to the victim. The public and media are thanked for their help in this matter.
