This is my nod to veterans today. Ive got a lot in my family. My maternal grandfather served in WWII- he left home at 17 to get out of south GA during the depression. Then two years later all hell broke loose at Pearl Harbor. He fought for freedom, his life; and the sailors beside him. Never talked about it to my momma and uncle, but he answered every question his grandson had. I posted recently about ole Pappy. Pappy was a Marine. My cousin Quinn is Army - former ranger and special forces. The list goes on... But this video is a song from Big and Rich about Vietnam. A war a generation was asked/made to fight, and then were demonized and cursed for when they got home. Think about that, we celebrate these men now. In the 1960s and 70s we spit on them and called them baby killers. My God.... Remember all vets today. But if you see a man with a Vietnam shirt or cap on today. Tell him thank you.
