This is not a unifying nor repeacing story.. very depressing. This is how some so called progressive publishing media outlet define themselves by elevating the things and the figures they object to. It would be like going after LEE CAMP because he rants too loudly or uses explicit terms too often. Who cares! .. Jon Stewart, Lee Camp, Russel Brand, etc. are the only sane comedians who tell truth to power every day, and they deserve some slack! The self proclaimed progressives, who profit for catering to the section B of the corrupted establishment (the owned and operated Democratic Party) are so desperate for original stories that they need to regurgitate and cross pollinate their articles between the high profile Liberal media, FDL, KOS, Salon, Alternet, CommonDreams, starting to put a bad name to corruption. How inspiring is it to go after someone who has done so much to expose the injustice in your country, and profit from doing so with your new book! Is the pain of a personal grudge here more at play than a valid case of public defamation? ???Not what America needs? What neither America nor the world needs is more division and more hypocrites who claim that money doesnt taste good when it flows in their bank accounts! You Allison Kilkenny toss Jon Stewart in the corner with the same lack of reflection you display if you tossed your old Blueberry gadget in the old electronic drawer. You clearly appear inconsiderate of the profound implications of your judgmental stance. Tell us what youre passionate about, who inspires you, who you wish to hear more from, but dont behead the ones whose legacy is perfectly human, imperfect, but passionate. The reason we are at a loss of inspiring things to share is because none of these news and opeds lead to neither entertaining, nor constructive stuff.
