This is one of the most responsive FB groups I am a part of, and with that said, I am seeking opinions. The soloist got nervous and skipped a beat in this recording of my “Agnus Dei” and surprisingly could not get back with the orchestra for quite some time. This happened just before the climax, but it is the only recording of my piece, as it was a premiere. The soloist, chorus and orchestra are volunteers and I am deeply grateful for their efforts. Can the listener still appreciate the piece, despite the soloist’s difficulty toward the end? It is hard for me to tell, because I obviously hear it as it should be.
