This message is not for the people that know me...but for those that dont and were recently introduced to me by an awesome news article: 1. I have a mortgage, car payments and children to feed....I have not and WILL not ever accept anything other than currency from anyone we do business with. I would not ever even HINT toward taking anything other than currency. The first thing I tell all agents who work with 3B Bail Bonds is DO NOT EVER ACCEPT ANYTHING OTHER THAN CURRENCY AS PREMIUM PAYMENT. My boss before me....and EVERY other bondsman from the beginning of bail bonds has been accused of accepting favors for bail premium. ACCUSED...Use common sense...Im not the type who would need favors...Im ok in that department. You dont become the #1 bail company...or the #1 company in ANY industry by pitching or accepting favors. Claiming that completely takes away from all Ive worked hard to build and is the oldest accusation in the bail bonds industry for any man in it. Why is it that the State Farm agent isnt accused of taking favors for the insurance plans he sells....cause he wears khakis? My clientele is a little different which subjects me to certain criticisms but does it matter what you do as long as you put your heart and soul into it and work as hard as you can? I run my business the same as ANY OTHER LEGITIMATE COMPANY in this county. 2. The police report of the alleged harassing phone call was purchased by a competing bondsman and provided to the PC News to run a story in an attempt to hurt my business. This is a dirty dirty industry Im in. So the only way to make sure you dont get caught up is to run a CLEAN CLEAN company. This irresponsible and ridiculous report not only shames me but shames my father, all of my friends mothers who have offered me love and guidance throughout my life in place of my own mother, my brothers and my children. To think a so called reporter submitted it to a so called publisher and editor who then approved it to run shows me how unprofessional and pathetic their organization is. I received no phone calls about the allegations....no questions....no attempt to rebut the nonsense that was printed. And I can assure you...they will publish more because we will be taking this small, petty misdemeanor harassing phone call charge to trial. Finally Ill say that we will continue to give back to our community and the people in it because we love what we do and we love the people we live around. God has given us the opportunity to GIVE BACK...which is not something weve been able to do our whole life so it would only be right to do so now that we are able. We dont do it for any other reason other than we CAN....we dont seek recognition or approval. We dont care about that. Weve been down and people were there for us and so we live by that same philosophy. Dont judge myself, my family, my children...over some nonsense article that is completely baseless and obviously written with a slant to hurt my business so the competition can attempt to do what theyve never been able to do since I started this company. Dont be so petty...were people and we do what we do because we love our children and our family. We work hard EVERY day and I would never lower myself as to expect or accept offers of favors EVER. The most recent rumor is that I was arrested for possession of meth and a pipe ;) See what Im talking about? Be glad youre not in my industry. I do it because I have a gift but Im constantly subjected to a barrage of lies, accusations and rumors. Rise above is all I can do and thats all I ask YOU to do. Dont believe the hype and shame to those who agreed to post that crap article about me. Thank you for your minute.
