This morning I attended a Steering Committee meeting for the Round - TopicsExpress

This morning I attended a Steering Committee meeting for the Round Lake Road Corridor. I still need to digest the information that I received at this meeting . But one issue I want to get out immediately. Creighton-Manning displayed a power point presentation indicating that as a result of the September 18, 2013 Public Meeting, they determined a 54% approval rate from the public for Roundabouts in the Round Lake Corridor. I immediately challenged this percentage and was told this was based on the 40 people that attended the public comments meeting and e-mails/letters sent after this meeting. I then stated that Val Manley attended the meeting and asked about the petition signed by 267 residents opposing the roundabouts. Creighton-Manning stated that the petition was not given to them at the meeting and they did not have it. I sent an e-mail to Supervisor Sausville requesting that a copy of our petition be forwarded to Creighton-Manning so they can provide accurate percentages of resident opinions. We need to have people send more e-mails and include Creighton Manning, all town officials, our Assembly person, Stewarts Corporation, Adirondack and Trustco Bank Headquarters and the landlord of Hannaford. We may need to start another petition. Forward this to all your friends, Woody
