This morning I have read several status updates and years have fallen for my friends our community. While liiki g at my notifications I noticed that my beautiful friend, Susan Ellwood, had nominated me to post 3 things in which I am thankful for the next 3 days. Mt heart is so full this morning that this should be easy. 1. I am thankful for God sending his precious son, Jesus, to pay my debt. I am thankful for his sacrifice for me and for my family teaching me by example to just trust and obey!! (Sometimes those are very hard for my Take Charge personality). 2. This morning I am thankful for my family and friends. I am blessed beyond measure from my sweet, loving, very handsome husband to my precious, beautiful babies! From my parents and step parents to my aunts/Uncles to my nieces and nephews even to the nut jobs that we claim as family! I am truly thankful for each one of you! I am thankful for your health that I hope we never take for granted. 3. I am thankful for my community! Pell City has bits flaws like any other place but I wouldnt want to raise my family any where else! This community has always pulled together when we have someone in need. We have a praying community and some good Christian leaders. Our school system, full of christian leaders came together for a family in need. They opened their doors to the Cepa Building to provide sufficient seating for Jalins family and friends to attend his funeral. They opened the doors of the school cafeteria to feed the mass of family and friends who leaned on each other for support. They have had councilors and clergy available to our students and staff. Today, I am THANKFUL!
