This morning I signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on behalf of Idaho with the Administration of the Lipetsk Region of the Russian Federation, southeast of Moscow. As we learned last November on my trade mission there, Russia has unique farming techniques and practices. With this MOU we establish a framework for development of business opportunities in sales of equipment, machinery, genetic materials and other products and services between Lipetsk and Idaho, along with providing research and development for technology solutions for agriculture and food production.
