This morning at 8:50 am I parked in front of Can Can to get coffee, and noticed that the car behind me had a parking ticket on it. I thought it was odd since it was so early, so when I walked by I looked closer. On the dashboard, right under where the ticket was placed, was a hand-written sign to the effect of: To whom it may concern. My car wont start. I am sorry for the inconvenience, and will take care of this first this on Wednesday 17, 2014. Thank you. I guess that this reasonable explanation as to why the car was left overnight was not enough for the parking monitors who keep Carytown safe and clean. It was enough for me, so I took the ticket off the car and am paying the ticket for this person who already has enough to deal with this morning. This is compliments of all Carytown businesses. I hope that the City of Richmond uses this money wisely.
