This one is for my neice Priyanka Kapuria who has been instrumental in me starting this page. ALOO KA CHOKHA Boil potatos. Peel and mash while still warm. Add a tsp of mustard oil, salt to taste and chilly powder. Thats what is called basic aloo ka chokha. I sometimes add very finely chopped sharp red onions , a green chilly and a dash of lime juice...and I like it a bit mustardy so I add more oil.
