This pas weekend I spent 3 AWESOME days at Mad Duck Training in Ohio where I attended the Rangemaster Instructor Certification class. This was an intense course and the best Ive ever taken. Tom and Lynn Givens along with John Hearne instructed about 15 of us who are firearm instructors. We fired over 800 rounds of ammunition in a variety of drills that taught us how to increase our accuracy by understanding better the mechanics behind accurate shooting. By learning these concepts and applying them to ourselves and each other, we are now much better equipped to instruct our own students. I had never shot so well in my life then after the first day of instruction. Tom is an incredible resource of information and his instruction was dead-on. Out of the 15 shooters, I came in second place, only one point out of 300 away from the Top Shot winner. I am very happy with my placement but I know I need to work even better at it. I will be incorporating what I learned into our own classes to bring to you all the benefits of what Tom, Lynn and John taught us. I am looking forward to taking more training from Rangemaster. rangemaster/
