This past weekend was nothing short of amazing. I wont lie. I acted as if it werent a big deal, but I was a very proud pastor this past weekend:-) . FVC chartered a bus and took our children to the TN Aquarium in Chattanooga and also visited the IMAX Theater while there. The bus ride there was just as enjoyable as the stay there. Each hotel room was a full suite with a living room area, kitchen with full size fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The children left the aquarium tired, and I just knew they were gonna eat and go straight to bed. NOT!! We got to the hotel and they found the pool. Sunday morning, we were blessed to worship with Greater Community Church of Chattanooga with Pastor & Lady Anthony Taylor. Their hospitality was second to none. The greeters met us at the door with huge smiles and warm hugs. The worship experience at GCCC was on point. The people there truly love God and have a heart for ministry. Pastor Taylor is doing a great work in teaching, training and admonishing the people of God to love God with all of their heart. Those who werent moved by the spirit, were definitely moved by Pastor Taylors kindness. He treated our entire congregation to dinner at Ryans after worship. FVC is SO impressed with, inspired by GCCC and the Taylors. The conversation on the ride home was about the ministry, the music, the announcements during offering, the welcome packets, the presence of God during worship. . . . etc. I love the Lord with all of my heart. And while we (FVC) have a lot of work to do, I am just too thankful for what God has done and is doing within our ministry.
