This project Ive been working on for the last two years is really close to my heart. I started training Jiu-Jitsu about 3 years ago and soon realized that this was more than just a sport, its a way of life, its a family. The people and friendships Ive made are something I will cherish forever. It all started back when my team mates and I were eating Pho after training, something that we did almost on a daily. The new Avengers movie had just come out and being the nerds that we are were talking about it. Of course, we all have nicknames at the gym, all that are given and not chosen. I am stuck with Scuba, for Scuba Steve We were talking about what our nicknames would be if we were to be given Super Hero names. Soon that developed into creating a Gi/Kimono with super hero characters. What started as a that would be a cool gi has now developed into reality. Throughout the last two years many new ideas have developed. As there are many competitors out there for gis, there are few that have dedicated their products for kids. I believe it is important for children to grow up a healthy life style and martial arts has proven over and over again that it can change lives. My vision is to help those unfortunate children around the world to give them opportunities they would have not had otherwise and be very involved with childrens martial arts and Children causes around the world. With that, I am happy and proud to introduce Heroes Kimonos, Jiu-Jitsu Suit of Armor. A special thanks to my business partner Leandro Vieira and Artist Bryan Dávila for the time and dedication he has put into the art.
