This research team says their work shows that exhibiting only selfish traits would have made us become extinct. One might expand this theory to apply to current situations where the powerful few are controlling the money, business, the food industry, and especially lobbying against taking action on serious environmental issues. We are all in this together, even if a small minority thinks they are somehow excluded from the problems the rest of us face.
