This short vid is for my mom. Peggy Oki definitely opened the door back in the 70s and these days the young ladies are really showing great presence in the skate world, breaking down social barriers while flying majestically over them, turning out some mad tricks with wicked style. There is nothing more satisfying than watching the playing field become level, allowing everyone the ability to showcase their amazing skills regardless of gender. The young woman in this vid, Leticia Bufoni, is truly an inspiration and a great role model for her generation.
